About the Site

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Because we believe in the Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ, we are sometimes referred to as Mormons.

People often ask about my intriguing lifestyle, so I’ll just tell you: I don’t drink alcohol or coffee, smoke, gamble, use profanity or even watch R-rated movies. I dress conservatively, go to church for three hours every Sunday, and pay tithing of ten percent of my income. I got married young, I was 21 to be exact and no, my husband doesn’t have any other wives—nor will he—ever.  We didn’t live together beforehand, and my white wedding dress really did symbolize my good, old-fashioned, innocence.  We plan on staying married—forever. I am a mother and I am my baby’s full-time caregiver. I am also a photographer and graphic designer, in that order.  No, I don’t drive a buggy and I do use electricity {you’re thinking of the Amish}. Yes, I dance. I dance often, actually, and I’m pretty awesome at it, truth be told.

What people don’t often ask, but would if they wanted to know the really fascinating part , is why I live the way that I do.

This blog is about what I believe, why I believe it, and what my life is like because of it.
