Introduction

Have you ever personally known a Mormon?  I’ve received enough bizarre questions over the years to realize that Mormons {members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints} are widely misunderstood and misinterpreted. People say we’re a secretive, exclusive bunch.  I disagree.

In fact, that’s why I’ve created this site.  I want anyone who has questions to come see how it really is.  I want you to know what my life is like as a member of the LDS Church. I want to make it personal.

My faith has shaped me.  It is not just an interest or a hobby, it is part of every aspect of my life.  I hope my desire to follow Jesus Christ is my most defining attribute and my church membership is inseperable from that goal. I am a whole-hearted, card carrying, devout Mormon.  I come from a long line of Mormons, I was raised Mormon and I continue my religious studies on a daily basis.

My Life as a Mormon outlines what I believe, why I believe it and what my life is like because of it.

THE LAYOUT: There are two sections to the site;  What I Believe and What My Life is Like.  The What I Believe section is like a glossary of my beliefs and experiences.   The What My Life is Like section is a blog of my day-to-day goings-on.

THE CONVERSATION: If you would like to add to what I have presented, please comment. This is wonderful, exciting stuff! Let’s discuss it! Differing viewpoints are equally welcome so long as they are stated respectfully.

STATEMENT: This is a personal blog by a Mormon, not an official website of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  My comments do not reflect the opinions of the Church as an organization, they are simply my own experiences and beliefs.
